I went to the old School 40 in the 1970s and then this school for two years before going to City Honors in 5th grade in 1976. I had Miss McKlainey (in her 1st year teaching), Mrs. Richardson, Mrs. Robillard, Mr. Harrison (though he died during the year he was my teacher), and a few other teachers in my mixed 3rd/4th- and 4th/5th-grade classes. I was in the younger grades for each of those. We walked to school and went home for lunch. Kindergarten was half-day.

Correct address is 89 Clare Street. This school has a very unique architecture and is currently a satellite to the Alternative Schoo.
