The 611 lives again. A beautiful capture and so well photographed in your image. I will be putting a new gallery of the 611 on pbase starting this evening. I have spent the last two days photographing it on excursions out of Roanoke. Virginia on runs to Redford, Virginia. Will be shooting again today if weather holds.

The N&W J Class 4-8-4's were some of the finest steam locos ever built. I was fortunate to see 611 on her last trip through Buffalo. She's a beauty and it is truly a shame that she's no longer in steam.

Nice locomotive photos. There is no Norfolk & Southern RR, it is Norfolk Southern (no ampersand required, unlike pre merger predecessor Norfolk & Western). JMH (13 Dec. 2006)
