I attended School #18, starting in 1st grade and graduated 1953. I would like to communicate with any of my school mates. One teacher that comes to mind was Mrs. Sapecky, who taught 6th grade. Miss Mason was our Principal, and MRs. Ostrander and Ms. Tauriello were there as well. We also were released early to attend religious instructions at Nativity on Mondays. Please write to me if anyone from my class reads this. I would be so happy to correspond with any of you from my class at #18.

I attended this school in 1964-65, Mrs Vallone, grade 3, Mrs Yergee grade 4, Mr Costello grade 5. Mr Patti was the principle. Any kid he caught wearing "Beatle Boots" got wo walk around the school wearing his socks all day, The gym teacher Mr Sacco was a real bastard who hit us with pointers & yardstick & made everyone stand at attention indoors, silent just before the lunch period. He hated me,I spent most of my exposer to him standing in a corner. At that time there were a lot of students sometimes 3 4th grades classes divided by your grades A,B & C class. Try & get away with that today.

I attended from 1960-1966 for K-6. I fondly remember Ms. LaRue from 1st grade who taught us some French words as well. Mr. Sacko from gym, but the other teacher's names escape me.

Went there from 1947-1950. Remember Mrs. Ostrander and Miss Tauriello. The principal while I was there (1st-3rd grade) was Miss Mason. The boys gym teacher's name was Mr. Sacco

I went to school here (1960 to 1963)from Kindergarten to 2nd grade and then moved. The Teachers I remember were: Kdg Miss Lindbergh & Miss Bernstein. 1st Grade: Miss Tauriello and Miss LaRue (spelling?). 2nd Grade: Mrs. Hardy. I remember Mrs. Hardy played an old wooden organ in her classroom. There was a gym teacher named Mr. Socko. I also remember going to the girls' playground in the morning before the bell rang. We had to line up by class before we paraded into the building. In the winter, we lined up in the basement, taking off our "leggings" before class. You went home for lunch, and once or twice a year you were allowed to stay at school and buy lunch! I remember great Christmas pageants in the auditorium, and being released early on Monday afternoons to walk to Nativity church for religious instructions. The Principal at that time was Miss Donohue.
