Although the guesses are quite good, it is not the same Harry Liaros.

This Harry Liaros was the uncle of the Harry you are mentioning. This is my great grandfather's old building.

Originally, there was a restaurant on the bottom floor. The family used to live up above.

I think this Harry Liaros is the same man who operated the concessions at Ellicott Creek Park and at Chestnut Ridge Park during the late 1940's and during some years of the 1950's. I grew up on Ellicott Creek Road, living directly across the creek from the casino, and worked for Harry from the time I was six or so years old until my family moved to Long Island in 1958. I didn't have to work, I just liked being around him. He was like a father and big brother to me and I think of him often. In fact, I was thinking of him today and decided to Google his name and came up with this site.

He was an interesting guy, a Damon Runyan character in a lot of ways, and
a very funny book could be written about my adventures with him.

H. Liaros was Harry Liaros. He was in the jukebox and pinball business ended up with a warehouse on Kenmore Ave. near St. Joe's CI where he had just about one of every old juke box and pinball he ever owned. I last saw him at a Sabres game during the Rigas era. He was a greek and a friend of John Rigas.
