C Block Gallery

C Block cells are of the outside style, meaning that one wall of the cell is on an exterior wall of the block. From a security point of view, this is less secure than inside cells.

this is a very depressing picture, and i would assume a very depressing place for both prisoners and staff. most of the prisoners no doubt deserve to be here, but some will have got caught up in the system and placed here when maybe a different place would have been better for them, but they chose to break the law, so now they have to suffer the consequences of their actions. having said that, they should still be treated fairly, as in fed, washed, clothed daily and should be given jobs within the prison to do, and given some kind of minor concessions for good behaviour, such as books to read, chocolate etc. these prisons in america are by far much worse than the ones in britain, here they get treated like V.I.P's and get given luxuries galore, they live better than a lot of the law abiding general public. it seems the human rights issues have been addressed somewhat, and rightly so but only to a degree, they seem to have gone too far the other way now where serving time for their crime has become a holiday and a free ride in society rather than a punishment or a deterant. we all have the capability to do/commit crimes or evil deeds, but most of us choose not to do them, those of you who choose to do them, will end up in a place like this.
