Blessed Trinity RC Church

323 Leroy, Buffalo

Where to begin with this one? It presents more than can be absorbed in a single afternoon, and that's either just the exterior or interior alone. It was completed in 1928, and cost $513,000. 1976 replacement cost was set at 425 million dollars. And that doesn't even begin to suggest what is here. It has to be seen; I don't know that it could ever be fully appreciated. It's still an active parish, is intact and in good repair. And is there for all to see and experience.

This is one of the most breath-taking churches in all of WNY. I have been to mass at the OVL Basillica and the interior, in my opinion doesn't hold a candle to that of Blessed Trinity. Truly beautiful.
