Westminster Presbyterian, 724 Delaware Ave. Buffalo, NY

Close your eyes and think of a church on Christmas Eve, with snow falling. The image you see would be close to Westminster Presbyterian, with its' tall steeple, and warm glow from the yellow brickwork. Once inside, that's the feeling that greets you - warmth. Westminster Presbyterian Church was founded in 1854, and remains an active body in the Buffalo community. The church building is intact, and projects an imposing presence in an area of imposing buildings.

I grew up in Tonawanda but lived all over Buffalo before leaving in 1993. I attended this church with a junior high friend, whose father was Pastor here. Such a gorgeous church, full of wonder to be in. And the teaching was Christ-centered.

Thank you for sharing all your photographs. Having married into a large Italian-Polish family, I saw the inside of many of the churches on this site. We have a great appreciation for Buffalo's architecture. Wonderful place to be from!

I grew up in this church and love it still. But I write to thank you for the other church pictures - I had no idea such fabulous spaces were all around me as a child. Now I'm 3000 miles away, but I have you to thank for letting me see them. The richness and variety of the Buffalo churches is just stunning - and you've captured them so beautifully.

If I could get married all over again this would be the church for us.
