Bob's World

In Sept 2005 work started on a £500 million programme to transform Bristol city centre shopping facilities
into a mega shopping center. At this stage, all the buildings in this huge area are being dismantled level by level.
For that, they are covering it with giant sheets of white plastic. I found the view of this construction site stunning.
Hundreds of people are working around the clock to finish that mega project by Automn 2008.
I am fascinated by how human can built something so huge in a such frantic pace.
My gallery has a humoristic tone but don't get me wrong,
I have a huge admiration for those men and (fewer) women and their fantastic work.
This is my "English" way to share something I find amazing and fascinating. Now, enjoy!

fantastic! just love Bob's World. I thought they just blew everything up and kept their fingers crossed that the rest of the city would stay in one piece!

Bravo! I was going to shoot this amazing site a couple of weeks ago, but was in too much of a hurry. It would look awesome in a sunset/sunrise.
