Here are some pictures of Sudan, the largest country in Africa. The Sudan has over 200 tribal groups, is rich in natural resources and was home to one of the world's oldest civilizations. The country borders nine others and has a port on the Red Sea with world famous diving reefs. Its most significant feature is the Nile River along the banks of which its various civilizations emerged. Khartoum is the current capital city and sits where the two branches of the Nile (Blue from Ethiopia to the East and White from Uganda to the South) meet. From there the combined Nile continues North to Egypt. KICS exists both at the heart of this ancient land and at the forefront of its future development.
