Doing something that most people don't think about doing in Hong Kong, we went to Sai Kung for a dive trip off the shore of Bluff Island.  This was in part a chance to introduce the girls (Jane, Joyce, Carol and Shirley) to diving to see if they will be interested to get a PADI certification. 

 

Whilst the girls were busying listening to the basics of diving, the boys (Tony, William and I) where below getting ready for our first dive for the day.

 

Can't say that our first dive was that brilliant or that the water was that clear.  The latter being one of the many reasons that we couldn't find the wreck of the Pajero 4x4 near the beach.  But my dive buddy, William, and I (after losing our dive master) did stumble on an interesting plaque and some seriously big sea suckers (sorry don't know the real name) that looks like it came right out of a Star Wars movie.

 

Our second dive started at the wreck this time, thanks to some kind soul putting a flag above it (though William and I did find it earlier when we went looking for it in snorkel and fins).  It's quite interesting with lots of fish surrounding it.  Needless to say, my dive buddy and I promptly lost our dive master again, but we did find Ken (our dive instructor friend) and ended up following him to the beautiful coral life in Hong Kong.
