Situated on the infamous
Costa Blanca on the east coast of Spain (about 90 minutes of reckless
driving south of Valencia) is the
touristy town of Alicante or Alacant. Dominating this
city is the magnificent 16th century Castillo de Santa Barbara (or Santa Barbara
Castle) over looking a very large and very skimpy sun tanning beach full
of tourists looking for a full body sun tan. The marina also provides
some nice aesthetic
views of the castle and provides a cluster of restaurants of fest on.The only other notable was the Catedral de St.
Nicolas.

There is a mistake at he photo named "Green door at Edificio casa Carbonell (Carbonell House". It is in fact the green door of the city Hall (Ayuntamiento).
