Enjoying the open road in an open car - my car was in the shop today and so I had a MINI Convertible as a loaner for a day. A great Colorado day for a convertible - 30 degrees but lots of sun. That 30 feels a little chillier at 70 MPH with all the windows down so I am suitably bundled for the journey.
After all, what good is a convertible if you don't leave the top downat every opportunity?
As I had the convertible only for the day, I spent lunch exploring the close by Eldorado Canyon, just outside of Boulder - a very small canyon with only about a mile of road, but perfect for a convertible as it just towers over you as you are driving. The perfect place to experience true Open Motoring.
Let me tell you, it's hard to get a good self portait while driving!
