This is the current (as of July, 2006) parking lot/put-in at Policeman's (editor's note: the boat launch at Policeman's has been upgraded significantly since this photo was taken; the site depicted was a temporary arrangement). There is room for about 4 vehicles to park, and that water you see is a side channel to the Bow. It takes a bit of effort to get a pontoon boat from the side channel into the Bow proper. In any event, we're on the water at about 7:30 p.m. Upon close inspection, the river has a couple of feet of visibility, and is emminently fishable. However, the river has also risen a fair bit recently, and is dropping at the moment... does not always make for happy fish.
