We usually stop and fish Michel Creek in BC on our way home, but the reports are of hordes of traffic and beat-up fish there, so we opt to hit the Crowsnest for a couple of hours instead (thereby saving the $20 "Classified Waters" fee in BC). Given the fact that there are three or four vehicles at every access point, and seemingly a fisherman in every pool on the lower Crow, maybe the Michel would have been a better idea. But anyhow, we pull in at Todd Creek, just above the reservoir, and fish up. A serious weather system is blowing in, but we pick up a few good fish in the howling wind, on the dropper end of the hopper-dropper (a prohibited setup in BC). A&W at Okotoks on the way home.
