Greenland North

North Greenland is wild, beautiful and powerful. It's changing very quickly now due to the warming trend. These photos may well be completely different had I taken them in a few years from now.
We can only wait and see, time will tell.

I came here to see a picture of the beautiful brightly colored homes of Ilulissat. I saw them just briefly on the Today Show (on NBC) as they went "To the Ends of the Earth". (They had one news caster at the Equator, one in Antarcitca and one at the Arctic Circle so that the could call attention to Global Warming and other Global Issues.) It was the report at the Arctic Circle but specifically the people of Ilulissat the stayed with me the most. The beautiful people and how they have had to learn to adapt since their climate and area has been changing in such a quick way. I am so appreciative that you have posted such beautiful pictures here of the sweet children, the amazing Glaciers and those beautiful, brightly colored homes.

Great pictures. I can add Greenland to the places I would love to see, but will never get a chance.
