Thanks for the comments, Kent :-) On the JAni image, I used Neat Image, which cleaned it up considerably, though leaving it a bit 'smooth'. The bride pic, ie. the one with the bride only, was also salvaged with Neat Image, but with other touchups as well.

Your retouched photos are incredible. In particular, how did you clear up JAni.jpg so well from what looks like a scanned in old photo? Can you point me in the right direction that one? That one of the beautiful bride is great too. You didn't lose any of the color when lightening. I have so much to learn oh master :-) Great name by the way :-)
