Message from Ken Andrews
Welcome to my galleries, which will grow as time allows. I am a retired elementary school physical educator whose passion has been photography for a number of years. I hope you enjoy what you see, and I would appreciate it if you would sign the guest book and offer any comments/critiques. I do offer prints for sale in the following sizes: 5 x 7 photos double matted to 8 x 10, 8 x 10 photos double matted to 11 x 14, 11 x 14 photos double matted to 16 x 20 or 16 x 20 poster size (in some cases). I am am beginning to add photos from our European adventure of June and July 2009: England, Scotland, Northern Ireland, Ireland, Wales, Germany, Greece, and Turkey. I has last been in Europe as an exchange student in Cologne, Germany in 1974 and 1975. This time I shot with a Canon 50D instead of a Kodak Instamatic! My wife, Charmaine, and I can't believe the trip is already over. If we ever get back to the Greek Islands, we may never leave.
We have been selling our photography at markets and art shows for eight years in Tampa, Dade City, Sebring, Brooksville, New Smyrna Beach, and Okeechobee, Florida. At Okeechobee's juried Top of the Lake Art Fest, we placed 2nd in 2013, 1st in 2014, 2nd in 2016. In 2015 and 2017, Honorable Mentions were awarded. We have also participated in art shows in Banner Elk, NC and on St. Simons Island, GA. We are returning to St. Simons Island this year for Art in the Park on April 1 and 2, and will participate in Darien, Georgia's Art in the Park the following weekend.
When we are not out-of-town, I will be at the New Bern Farmers' Market on Front Street in New Bern, North Carolina. Hours are 8 - 2 on Saturdays.
