01e - High rise condo rezoning application for Summer Place

The photos in this galley reflect primarily the Belle Mer and the Summer Place property at Navarre Beach, Florida. The Summer Place is a small beachfront neighborhood that consists of (4) beach homes and (3) vacant lots that is adjacent to the western boundary of the Belle Mer condo. The owners of Summer Place made a rezoning application for a high rise condo in Santa Rosa County (SRC). The SRC Local Planning Board on May 10, 2007 met in a public meeting in Milton, Florida to make a recommendation to the SRC Board of County Commissioners. The Local Planning Board voted 6 to I in favor of rezoning this property.

On May 31, 2007 The Board of County Commissioners will meet in a public meeting in Milton, Florida to review and consider transmittal of the rezoning application.

Hi Kenny, I hope you and "Mama Dale" are well! I was there for the "Wedding on the beach"-May 6th- Will be back July 7th and hope I can come to see you 2 and some of your larger prints of these wonderful photos! I am writing on this page because I want you to know I hope the rezoning doesn't go through!!! It would so mess up the view for so many in Belle Mer!! I am sure the view and peacefulness of that portion of the beach was determining factor for the owners and renters of the condos at Belle Mer. It would be awful for that to change.! I wish-at least just once for this little "piece of heaven on earth" -that love for the natural beauty will win over the "good ole make a buck syndrome" Tell Mama Dale that Jim says "hi" and that we both send our love and thanks for all she did for us that week!! (Jim was the one with Alzheimers). He's had a bad week -falling more now so I am sooooooo ready to move down there and just sit on the beach with him as long as he is able :):). Can't wait to see what more has been done to your house! I have a great picture I took of it while at Best Western!!! :) Next time I want to get a closer shot of it :) . Love 2 u and Dale! Really excited to see you 2 again and try to get even better pictures -:) -If you have a suggestion for a good camera for a "wanna be great photographer of sunrises/sunsets" :) :) -let me know., please.

We've been coming to Navarre Beach for almost 20 years. I love looking at these photos...I go to this site almost daily and dream! We'll be there in about 2 weeks! Thanks for the beautiful photos.
