Once resplendent and stately with water continuously cascading over the ledges and the salmon seemingly swimming upwards against the flow, this fountain, designed by Susan Schelle, has in recent years fallen on hard times. With the water shut off it remains bone dry with no apparent sign (as of this posting) of any return to its former watery life.
