On Thursday morning, March 9, 2006, we awoke to a couple inches of snow at our house. Having heard the weather forecast we had already planned to take a powder day at Mt. Hood Meadows. It turned out to be one of those rare epic days, crisp and cold with 24 inches of fresh powder. It snowed all day on the mountain with almost no wind. These are the conditions I love to ski in!
