The production of doucai wares reached it's height in Kangxi, Yongzheng and Qianlong periods.
These Qing doucai wares kept on imitating Ming doucai but at the same time showed
great progression from them in terms of quality and ware types. For instance, tonal gradation
was observed in the decorations. The addition of the newly developed fencai enamels also
enriched the colour range of Qing doucai.
