“Beauty of the Islands Cruise”, is known as “Napoleon’s hat”,
because of its resemblance to a “bicorne hat”, or “two-cornered
hat”, which is (often) readily associated with Napoléon Bonaparte,
although it was worn by European (and American) naval and
military officers (generals & staff officers) of the Napoleonic period.
