The Demise of Fort Worth's 7th Street Theater

In 1976 I worked at the 7th Street Theater as a doorman. I was in my Junior year at Arlington Heights High School. It was my first real job. Some of the movies that we played while I was there were "The Exorcist", "Follow Me Boys", "Freebie and the Bean", "The Shootist", "American Graffitti" and "Shampoo".

I remember when in late high school and college, going almost every weekend to see Rocky Horror there. So sad to see it go. Those were great memories.

Nice documentary. This kind of stuff saddens me because memories are stored in buildings like this one.

Sorry to see it go! When I used to pull alert out at Carswell my wife and her freinds would go to the 7th Street and see The Rocky Horror Picture Show I never saw it.. but remember her going all the time Mike
