During a visit to my friend John, who lives with his Isan wife Dar in her small village in Sakhon Nakon province, we found there was going to be a wedding the next day. He had originally been asked to take photographs, but when he found I had brought my camera, he asked me to do it instead of him. Very little warning and preparation time, I only shot the actual wedding ceremony, not the parties before and after. In and out in an hour. The room was very full, but I managed to squeeze through the sitting crowd.
Never got an opportunity to do formal shots with couple and parents etc, but often those are fairly stiff anyway. They were happy with the result it seems.
