I received an award at work at picked this trip to take with the boys. We flew from the Manassas Regional Airport in Northern Virginia over the Shenandoah Mountains (you'll note the Shenandoah River) to Harper's Ferry, WV (the little Victorian-style town shown). It was a great flight in the "Luxury" helicopter. The pilot's name was Lon. We had the choice of doors on or off, and it wouldn't have been any fun with them on, so we chose off, which was more like a theme park ride. The ride took a little over an hour at 100 miles an hour, 500 feet off the ground. Nice Sunday morning fare.
