A comparison of the new 2" Baader U Filter (UG11xx) against the older 1 1/4" predecessor (UG11x).

Images 6 + 9 show, that the new one (UG11xx) has about 5 stops better IR suppressing capability than its predecessor.

Images 7 + 8 show, that the new one (UG11xx) has about 10 stops better UV transmission than IR transmission.

Regular exposition is about +8EV to +10EV as compared to a white light shot.
