The Grand Circle

During the month of October 2008 my brother, Terry, and I took a month-long trip to the American Southwest, visiting Las Vegas and the "Grand Circle" of national and state parks, including stops in Nevada, Arizona, Utah and Colorado. This gallery contains photos from some of the places we visited. I am still sorting through the images and will continue to post them as time permits. All photos in this gallery were taken during the one-month period of Sept. 27, 2008, to Oct. 27, 2008.

Kenneth,
I am enjoying the photos and it appears you and James Terry had a terrific trip. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking as I had trouble deciding which photo to use as my background. Thanks for sharing the pictures and let me know when you are coming to town again.

Thanks for your kind comments, John. Traveling and posting photos as I go has not turned out to be as easy as it sounds. Many days Internet access is not available. And even when it is, I find it difficult to get the photos edited and posted and still get enough sleep to get up and go again the next day. Climbing up and down trails in the mountains of Utah and hiking down a dry gully in Colorado looking for an ancient Indian ruin is also pretty taxing at my age. So I will continue to post as I can, but I'm afraid some of the photos will have to wait until I finish the trip. -- Kenneth
