New Delhi, India

Just got back after an arduous 34 hour trip, which included a 9 hour layover in Moscow...ugh. Had an amazing time, heart warming, heart wrenching, life changing journey. Met amazing wonderful people, including the personal representative of the Dalai Lama for India, a three star general and other government appointees. Spent the twelve days in New Delhi, barring a day trip to the spectacular Taj Mahal. John and I were spoiled rotten.

These kids came up to me while I was taking photos in a local park- one approached me and soon I had 12 children surrounding me, saying "Auntie, Auntie, take my picture!" Was a photographer's dream. I found that people in India were very open to being photographed, and in fact sometimes would stop dead in front of me as I was taking photos to be able to include them.

More photos will be put up as the days go on within an individual India gallery on my website.

Indeed! This is a great scene. Love the spontaneity and the "i-don't care" cropping. Beautiful colors too. Congrats. voted
