RI Bald Eagles 2006

This is the fourth season that this pair of Bald Eagles has mated. I still have't heard of any others, mating that is, but it is bound to happen. The babies were banded on April 25th.

Hi all, so glad I found this site. i have been tracking eagles in Va. for a while, until someone told me that there was 'rumored'. to be a pair of eagles in the Tiverton/Westport area Is is it so??? Would so love to see them... Saw some huge birds soaring over the Sakonnet, but didn't have any binocs or scope with me. Say it is soooo!! Merri

ken there is also a nest on the wesport river, and on seekonk river. best place to view is behind swan point cemetery. thats where they are mostly, also alot of owls back there also. keep up the good work. love the photos.

Have been viewing them in Scituate for several years with amazement! Yesterday (3/30/09) I walked out my back door to find one perched on a tree limb in the yard. I have heard of previous sightings in Coventry and can only hope a pair would nest on Johnson Pond.

there is also a nest on the north watuppa pond in fall river, there is two adults and 3 immature

Hi, I must say these photos are spectacular. I was there today with my video camera and was able to get some shots of the juvinile flying. not nearly as good as yours. I had trouble finding the nest. i was filming from 116. maybe my lense isnt good enough. anyways i am posting the video on youtube www.youtube.com/ripfilms and i am linking viewers to this site! i was hoping we could work together with future shots of these beautiful animals! email me please

Just came from Scituate Reservoir where I spent an hour observing 1 adult and 1 visible chick(there are reportedly 2). The 2nd adult hadn't returned with lunch yet. Also spotted an adult near the Rt 4/1 split in North Kingstown about three weeks ago and have heard there is a nesting pair in South County. Magnificent to see.

Are you taking photos this year too? I am on 116 every day and love being able to see the Eagles through your photos - they are wonderful!

we have one nesting down here on Stafford Pond inTiverton. I have seen it sitting not far off shore on the ice this year and last year
