Each year, and always in April, the village of Bundanoon, in the Southern Highlands of NSW, has plays host to a traditional Highland Gathering and Games. Approximately 15000 people are entertained by the street parade, pipe bands and marching clans, the Scottish highland dancing and the traditional Scottish games. Merchandise and food stalls sell everything imaginable from Scottish shortbread, clan memorabillia, haggis to traditional burgers.
A large team of volunteers provide the labour force to make this event such a success.
