Vigil for 2000 US Soldiers Killed in Iraq

The vigil was at the Capitol building in St Paul, MN. There were many vigils throughout the Twin Cities that were held simultaneoously. This one had 200 participants. The milestone number of deaths, 2000, was reached yesterday on October 26, 2005. Today, according to http://icasualties.org/oif/, a non-profit site, the death toll has reached 2002.

Heather, Someone has to look out for the men and women who are being killed and maimed in Iraq. My brother served in Iraq and I'm a Vietnam Vet. The Vets are mostly the ones looking our for the soldiers today. Most others are too worried about their own lives to care about others. Kayakbiker
