Buying a DSLR has been a most inspiring and eye opening experience - it really does teach you to look at things from a different perspective and in fact I now look at my surroundings as if my eyes are a lens.. always commenting "that's a nice picture!"
One of the nicest things is to be able to share the passion with people that love to do the same thing.
