This magnificent procession of historic boats at Runnymede, organised by Thames Alive, showed the variety and scope of river boats that still lies beneath the radar of British culture. As in the Queen's Jubilee Pageant (see that gallery too), many people turned out and braved unsettled mid-June weather with patience, verve and style, creating an unforgettable event. These were taken from participating whaleboat Molly over the full weekend. Email with a photo number for prints (£15 for an A4 print, discount for more) to Kathymansfield@mac.com.
