This isn't a 'nice' image. Most of my fractal images focus on order amongst chaos. Symmetry, stability. There's a good reason for that... most of the time I'm in a state of internal chaos. This image, when it arrived on my screen whilst wandering down a chain of iterations... it just leapt out at me, thumped me in the gut and made me say 'that's what it's like... going mad is just like that... the sense of the fragile flower at the center and the clawing raking hands tearing at it.

So it's not a nice image. But it's a powerful one for me just the same.
