Steens Mountain

A couple weeks ago I went down and over to Steens Mountain. It was HOT and the mosquitos were terrible. I had planned to be there longer but due to the heat and bug population I was not able to stay long. BUT the wildflowers were awesome!!! I had been to the Steens once before but it was in the fall. I really did not expect the wild flowers to be so pretty. I really liked the tiny sub-alpine ones near the top. I have to say I will be going back there for more flower pictures. I will make sure I take lots of bug spray. -- I have lots of pictures to process so I will be adding more.
