Leslie Gulch 2009

Earlier this year when we went to the Steens we stopped by Leslie Gulch.
It is kind of tricky taking pictures -- Leslie Gulch is a Canyon and you are taking pictures with the sun coming up on one side or going down on the other side or in the middle of the day in pretty much flat hard light.
I really want to spend more time there and work on pictures -- I have some favorite rocks.

If you ever have the opportunity to go here it is really amazing. I would have never thought we had rocks like this in Oregon. It is out in the middle of no where but well worth the trip.
