This is a picture of an old Lime Quarry which has washed down over the road or I should say has washed out the road. As we were going up to the road I made the comment to my husband maybe we should be in 4 wheel drive. About that time we got stuck, but 4 wheel drive pulled us out, then rounded the corner to the wash out. We both got out surveying the road. I decided we need not go any farther. But much to my dismay my husband noticed tire tracks going over the wash out and was sure he could make it. As I was say NO he got in the truck and drove on through. I would not have ridden over the wash out. But the other bad part we would have been backing down the mountain for many miles. There was NO place to turn a truck around. It would have been scary in a jeep to turn around.
