The right bank of the Canal in Bruxel is the «Dansaert-neighbourhood» of the city of Brussels: a trendy young center of design en fashion. The left Bank is «Old Molenbeek», the result of a century of industrialisation, with now a high concentration of poor and proletarian people, almost with there roots abroad of Belgium. Saturday 19 june 2004, there was a symbolic wedding of Fatima from Molenbeek and Baptiste from Brussels. The place: in the middle of the bridge across the Canal. A remarkable moment that there are no «opposite side», no «others»... only «we».
