Jean Fouquet - Madonna, Serafines and Cherubines

This painting by French painter Jean Fouquet (ca.1420 - 1477/81) is one of the true treasures of the museum.
It is very hard to believe this painting dates from the 15th century. It has a timeless beauty and clear but extremely vivid lines and colours.
I am currently working on a high-resolution version (by stitching several pictures together) to be able to make prints of it at original size (91 x 81 cm).

other sizes: small medium original auto

please: can anyone kindly help me to find out whether Jean Fouquet is an author of a portrait of Margaritte d´Ecosse(also called margaritaescocia)- a dauphin of France, the wife of Louis XI ? There is her portrait on wikipedia in that-non-telling-black-and white color which never gives any info about the true colours. Are there any possible links to that colorfull portrait ? By the way- have anyone noticed a kind of possible facial resemblance between that margarita escocia and the woman-model for the Fouquets madonna ? thanks a lot
