Photos in this gallery are from the third annual Adventure Travel Trade Association's World Summit, October 4-7, in Whistler, British Columbia as well as ATTA's regional meeting in Washington, D.C. in spring 2008.

The 2007 World Summit drew 500 attendees from 34 countries. My pictures feature ATTA participants, Whistler Village, Day Outside mountain biking with Whistler Bike Guide and the lively Sunday Farmer's Market in Whistler Village.

I was a presenter on one of ATTA's media panels, "How to Tap into the Influential Freelancer Writer Network and How to Improve Your Public Relations." On Friday, fellow panelists, editor Don George and freelance writer Everett Potter spoke to more than 100 audience members about our jobs and how they could improve their chances of having stories written about their companies and trips.
