I think you have the wrong impression of Forest Hill church and the overall message we have as a church. I hope to see you actually walk through the doors and I will assure you there are no atm's present ANYWHERE inside of the church grounds. In fact the church message is to come to Christ through his Grace, and as a church whole to then turn around and serve our community and others in need. As a member for 8 years now, I can say that I have never been asked for my routing number or even felt pressured to tithe. Don't be so quick to judge what you definitly misinterpreted. Pastor Chadwick says many times in his sermons, " to take something out of context is pretext." Hope to have you visit the actual service sometime, it may just be something worth soaking up! God Bless!

To all church administrators: Please don't go this route - ATM's in your lobbies, auto check withdrawing, etc. I know it is easier for congregation members to give of their tithes and offerings; however, it really sends a bad message to the world(similar to the money changing tables in the temple - you know the ones Jesus flipped over?). What will be the next step? Debit and credit card swipes in the pews? Collection plates work fine - just let us put our offerings there. I'm a cheerful giver - really.

I visited the forest hill church website site and ran across this quote:

"You can also contact the business office at marilyn.maner@foresthill.org to enroll in our automated checking account withdrawal program. "

I guess the more things change, the more they stay the same.
