The Upper Room is still known as The Upper Room but unfortunately it is closed. It was rumored in 2008 that its owners had plans to demolish it and replace it with townhomes. It has recently been reported in other forums that the owners are now silently offering The Upper Room and adjacent properties for sale due to the economic downturn.
An online petition has been created by Friends of The Upper Room encouraging its owners to sell The Upper Room at a reduced price or donate it to another ministry so that it can be saved. I encourage everyone to please sign the petition at:

I think they changed the name of the Upper Room to something else. I would not have changed the name.

I was driving thru the area in April 2006. These statues were then stuck over in an area that seemed abandoned. I never visited the Heritage before, the upper room seemed to be the only thing un touched by progress or lack of
