Black And White - up to 2006

I really started my involvement with photography with community photography projects in the early 1980's. I was involved in setting up a community darkrooms and participated in and then ran many projects related to local people and places - they were all in black and white. My interest expanded to colour slide work but somewhere along the line work and family and everything else confined my photographic practice to running and/or organising projects with or for other people. I still do this but I have re-discovered the joys of black and white photography in the digital age, particularly since purchasing my Canon 5D.
