It's been fun exploring your galleries since I first discovered your galleries, Jimmy. I'm partilurly intrigued with your reference to Brazos Bend State Park. It looks like a birding mecca. I'm sure you've made good use of the excellent internet resource offered by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, particularly
The reds look good Jimmy
Really like your photo's!!
I know you have the Nikon 300mm 2.8G, and I'm thinking about buying one.
My question is, do you own the 400mm 2.8G? What are yoour thoughts about the lens?
I just trying to decide.
Enjoyed viewing your excellent images on PBase via dpreview site!!!
Also have the D300 with 18-200VR, 18-70 and 12-24 wide.
What reasonably priced "nature" lens(es) would you recommend???
Been shooting for 50+ years, but only two+ years with Nikon, so still "building up" stock of Nikkor lenses.

Glad to see you're making skilled hobby available to all who can find it rather than keeping it to the small/select group you had in the past.
