A grey and unusually warm (above 0 deg C most of the time) early 2008. Plenty of drizzle and little if any snow. Depressing.
The 2007-2008 winter in Finland was the warmest on record. Six degrees C above average. It was the first winter I know about when the sea around Helsinki did not get an ice cover.
Some slightly colder weather arrived early March, which however is considered spring for statistical purposes.
