River Koitajoki flows close to the russian borderline in Northern Karelia, not so very far from Eno. There's a nature protection area with swamps and old-growth forests, a hiking route and a couple of cottages where all passers-by can freely stay. I spent there three days with my father and Peppi the dog in october 2006, so it's taken quite a while to put these photos there. I really like that area.
