Yes, so deep in the snow. But the fence not very high... You're right about the barbed wire. The associations far from beautiful. But i think the snow and its tones needed some contrast.

so deep, in the snow? the snow, shadows, tones are quite beautifully captures. the fence- jagged, like teeth, of something or then the teeth of a saw. barbed wire; uhm. images that is conjours up, aren't so beautiful.
