Moab Kokopelli Trail

Five Toyota FJ Cruisers & two off-road trailer across Moab's Kokopelli Trail and the Top of the World trail.
Excellent trip needed the use of the winchs at one point to get across a mud hole.
After two days in the back country we headed to town to drop off the trailers & head to Fins & Things a great slick rock trail before paul & Lori had to head home.
Next day we headed to Arches NP to see the area I've passed by but never stopped for a look then south to Newspaper rock to see 2000 yr old pictographs.
We all meet for dinner and went different ways in the morning.
Mike in his FJ60 & M416 trailer & me with my FJ Cruiser & M416 worked our way south, stopping at the anazai Hertiagae center in Dolares, then to Durango to camp for the night. Great spot the Silverton train ran right through the campground in the morning.
Following day we headed towards Pagosa Springs found a great spot to camp by the east fork of the San Juan river.
Next morning we headed up the 10,000 + ft Wolf Creek Pass heading to Alamosa Co to pick up a historical trail that Captain Zebulon Pike, Jr. was looking for the Red river & like most great explorers he was lost when he came across the Rio Grande in 1860. We followed his route from Colorado into New Mexico for our return route home. Beautiful country back in there. Saw wild horses & antelope and no one else.
A great group of people to travel with.
