actually this was a monster wednesday at c9. it got triple overhead in the morning. 17 boards broke at c9 alone, maybe 4 over at rock island.

Nic photo, wish i was paddling into that one out the back.
Not to sure about 'big Wednesday" though, looks like the second reef out the back was just starting to brake. Which normally kicks in once it gets near the ten foot range, then Cloud Nine starts getting exciting, and the take-off actually gets easier when its bigger. Just don't look at it side on when your paddling out, other wise you'll be too scared to take-off.
