Actually this was a 2000 edition cocker, but as you can see it uses a pre98 WGP body. This was the last of the Bob Long serious cockers produced by WGP. These marker were fairly bulky and heavy for the time. The only special features about this marker was they put a nice annodizing job with matching shroud, Bob Long grip frame, adjustable full rock LPR, Mini Ram, and Flatened timing rod. The truley unique aspect of this marker is the absence of a beavertail. As you can see it was designed to not have one. it has a cage system built on to the back block. It must be removed by unscrewing it from the back block. I am not sure of any other markers that used this design.
Hey man just wanted to say that is a great colection of cockers... great site too I really enjoyed browsing through your various markers and such. I'm curious, when it says $220 shipped for the Bob Long Cocker does that mean it's for sale? If so I'm quite interested in buying that... I've already got a 99 STO and the Bob would make a great companion to the begining of a cocker collection/habit. I like oldschool but I also like the Race frames so it's all good. I'm getting some carbon fiber up front soon too so I don't know exactly where I stand, but still I would love to sport that gun... do you take Pay Pal?
